Coins Competition!
Well, not entirely sure why I ahven’t thought of this until now, but here it goes.
I have made 40 some odd coins/tokens. I’ve been calling them WinterWolfForge coins, but in all honesty, the worlf is the logo of CedricDesigns in actuality. I am going to be discussing branding, PR, and marketing via website design with Mike when I get to Sweden, so we’ll see how that situation evolves.
What I am thinking right now is fantastic. I have been giving these coins to my hosts as I travel. Thus far I believe that counting the one in my pocket, they are in 10 cities across 5 countries right now. This means that upwards of 12 people have these coins.
What I propose is this: I am going to start an ongoing project of sorts. A bit of a collaboration, if you will. I will be making more coins when i get home, so if you don’t have one yet, I can probably get you one. In the meantime:
I want to create a collection of photos of these coins in interesting positions and places, on different materials, etc etc. Basically, you take the coin you’ve been given, and you take a photo of it anywhere, in anything, being held by, sitting on, or supported by anyone/thing.
If there are some exceptionally good ones, I will devise some sort of competition to see who’s is best, and there will likely be a prize, or a coupon, or some such thing.
So get your coin, get your camera, and start shooting!
